What is the Jewellery Made From?
The jewellery collections are all fine jewellery, meaning they are made of solid gold and precious stones. Each Drop is unique and may include different materials (14, 18, 21 Karat Yellow, Rose and White Gold, new and antique diamonds, shells and semi precious stones). Each product page will clearly list what each piece contains, for further information check the listing.
Where is the Jewellery Made?
I look for inspiration wherever I travel so the pieces are made all over the world. Some pieces are assembled in UK but created from antique and modern pieces combined which, could have been sourced across the world. Some modern pieces are made in the UK, USA or Asia.
What does an item being on “Pre-Order” or “Back Order” mean?
Items on “Pre-order” are new! They have been designed but are still being made, they will become available to ship as soon as the stock arrives. Depending on the item this time may vary.
Items on “Back Order” are currently sold out. More stock is on it’s way so you can purchase the item and it will ship as soon as the stock arrives. Depending on the availability of the piece this maybe as little as 14 days and up to 6 weeks.
What is the packaging?
Each piece comes in a reusable hand-made linen bag, perfect for travelling and storing your PEONY LIM Jewels pieces. The shipping packaging is as minimal as possible without excess plastic, while creating a clean luxurious feel to help minimise waste.
To ensure a long happy life with your pieces, remove your jewellery when you shower, bathe or engage in heavy exercise, particularly when swimming in the sea or a chlorinated swimming pool.
All of our gemstones are natural and therefore can be vulnerable to absorbing dirt and to chipping. Settings may also become loose over-time. Pearls are an exceptionally sensitive gemstone, so you must take extra precautions in caring for them. Avoid exposing your pearls to any chemical or surface that could scratch the surface or deteriorate the calcium carbonate (this includes fragrance and cosmetics).
You should avoid spraying perfume, applying creams or any other liquids directly onto or around your jewels.
Keep your jewels away from extreme temperatures, humidity or sunlight.
It’s best to avoid wearing your jewels when using cleaning products like bleach (and other chemicals).
How should A smock Fit?
The fit of a smock is a matter of taste. Some people wear them more fitted with a cropped feel (the wont cover your bum) others wear them more oversized like a tunic. The Smocks come in three sizes for tops (S,M,L) and two for dresses (S/M, M/L). A Large will fit both a size 8UK and a 16UK depending on how you wear it. See the size guide for further details.
